Metro Narcotics agents on Thursday raided the Puffs Vape, Tobacco and Beer Store, located on the 100 block of Heritage Drive in Oxford. Agents seized "more than 500 units of kratom, along with an assortment of THC cartridges, gummies, and other suspected narcotics," according to an Oxford police statement.
Local Kratom Ban Enforcement
The possession, distribution and sale of kratom has been prohibited in Oxford since 2019. Yahya Mohamed Mosleh, 51, and Islam Mohamed, 18, were booked in connection with the case, though complete details of charges remain under investigation.
