Toyota Unveils Advanced AI Technologies for Woven City Smart Mobility Platform

Toyota and Woven by Toyota announced breakthrough AI vision models and integrated systems designed to transform urban mobility and safety through real-time behavior prediction and autonomous vehicle coordination.

Advanced AI Vision Engine

Woven City AI Vision Engine, a leading vision language model, and other advanced AI technologies introduced for applications across industries. The technologies represent a major advancement in Toyota's commitment to the Woven City experimental hub.

Integrated Safety Systems

The Woven City Integrated ANZEN System builds on AI Vision Engine's capabilities by combining it with other AI technologies, including Woven City Behavior AI and Woven City Drive Sync Assist. Woven City Behavior AI interprets and predicts human behavioral patterns, while Woven City Drive Sync Assist provides driving assistance based on driver needs and surrounding conditions. By analyzing camera data from vehicles and traffic signals, the system can understand movement, anticipate behavior, and provide that information to pedestrians and drivers to support peace of mind both on and off the road.

Infrastructure and Innovation Hub

Further supporting Inventor innovation, the Inventor Garage has begun operations in April. The Inventor Garage acts as a hub for end-to-end development. It features co-creation spaces where Inventors can build prototypes, testing areas where inventions can be validated, and accommodations and communal spaces designed to help Inventors focus on development and engage with residents ("Weavers").
