Aftermath and Investigation
Police say the suspect fled the scene, carjacked a vehicle, and was pursued by officers. The suspect was shot and killed during the chase, with Louisiana State Police investigating the officer-involved shooting.
"This is a tragic situation — maybe the worst tragic situation we've ever had in Shreveport," said Mayor Tom Arceneaux.
